The Agricultural Show is one of the highlights on the Lady Grey Calendar.  It takes place during July and brings farmers and townsfolk together for two days of show-off and fun.  Enthusiastic members of the show committee put a lot of effort in to making the show special and different every year. 

 

The show starts with the judging of livestock.  Farmers from the area take great pride in their livestock and the competition is tough. 

 

Various stalls sell food, hand-made items and numerous other things.  Farm implements and vehicles are displayed.  Demonstrations may include the working sheep or police dog, a vehicle or machine of some type or how to make something special.  There is always something that would interest you.  It could include horse riding or jumping, Gyrocopter rides, Microlites and Quad or Off-road bikes.  The show always ends with the  show dance.
